Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

The people who listened to the Teacher were troubled because evil pursued them and that he, Jesus, was going to allow himself to be taken. He felt he could only prove man lived on if he himself died as was prophesied in Psalm 22.
