Animals in Symbols
Sometimes animals are part of a dream in symbolic form, but not always. One might meet a much-loved pet that had passed over. Why symbolic? As one dreams, the brain is more in the background. The mind has taken over and the symbols become memorable, when awakening. Best to keep a pen and paper to record if especially one wakens in the night, otherwise one could easily forget.
A recent dream I had comes in two parts. In the first, I was in a landscape like the South African veldt. There were lions dotted here and there in the long grass. I was with a few other people, suddenly I had a hunting rifle which kept the lions pacified.
The second part, I was in the sea with other people and there were sharks about. This time I had a speargun, again a positive means of defence against attack.
Thinking about this, these dangerous animals could be people who are trying to take advantage of others by fraudulent means, e.g. scammers.
I'm very careful in answering the phone. Recently I had a call purporting to be from my bank security, very realistic. I put the phone down and rang my bank who put me through to security, there was no problem, and that the scam was commonplace.
The dangerous animals are people who will try to use intimidation to take advantage of others. Luckily, I had taken note of my dream and was watchful.
