Happy Occurrences
I marvel at how quickly life can recover from a drought for instance; farmers and gardeners would have more experience of this. In my garden the rose bushes had bloomed, then came the drought and the flowers quickly dried and fell off. I had a limited supply of water in my water-butts but the continuing very hot weather soon caused the flowers to fall off again. The rains came in time, and the bushes and trees revitalized. My blackberries which had dried up produced more good fruit much to my amazement.
One Friday was a very special animal day. First a large sized orange-brown caterpillar was climbing up the side of my brick garage. I removed it to some bushes. Then walking past, I looked into the small local stream, and a heron suddenly flew up and away. Thirdly as I was going to catch the bus a long-tailed mouse ran along the bottom of the wall. Then in a garden of the estate a squirrel looked at me but didn't bolt off in a sudden panic.
I felt truly blest by all that had occurred. It shows how even little things can make a positive difference to one's day if one is open to it.
All these events happened in one day, it brought great upliftment to my self and I really appreciated it.
